Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from music blogs as well as from the press. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to use music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning a living or an interest. She began to write her own compositions. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as her main influences. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they could help people not be famous with her music, but rather to help people see around them realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. Piano was her first instrument at the age of six. She began creating music after turning nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora wasn't a dream. She just loves to write songs. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
